My obsession for crocheting began after years of cross stitching onto linen and my eyes could no longer manage those infinitely small linen holes.   I turned to knitting first, only to find that the concept of "two hands are better than one" did not work for me.  My tension was always too loose or too tight.
I turned to crochet with the desire to make those cute doilies that covered my aunt's and grandmother's tabletops.  After learning to make several dozen doilies with my mother, I turned to straight lines and my crocheting life began with several dozen scarves.
Taking my lessons in circles and lines, I learned that you can easily manipulate the look of an ordinary crocheted piece...and thus, my first purse was made.  I then moved on to head wraps and hats...and that was when Warm Fuzzies was born!
What I found in the beauty of felting was the idea that not only can you crochet circles and straight lines, but you can take those items and felt and create the most wonderful objects of practical use and beauty.  Although I crochet a piece that will eventually lose nearly one third of its size during the felting process, the end result always fascinates me.
To beautify a felted piece, I found needle felting to enhance and personalize all my pieces.  Felting and needle felting bracelets, soaps, Easter eggs and Christmas ornaments provided me with additional projects.  And when I have an entire day to devote to a scarf ... I nuno felt for an even more spectacular piece!
